Alex - a truly beautiful man, both inside and out. He had a presence about him that drew one to him but at the same time was totally non attention seeking or demanding of centre stage. He oozed life to the full and calm and gentleness at the same time. He seemed at home in his own (beautifully bronzed) skin. He did not strive to be anyone other than himself but was quietly at ease. A gentleman who considered the feelings and needs of others. A man with a keen sense of humour, quiet and unforced, dry with impeccable timing.
